    Lead UX/UI Designer

    Capitec Bank

    As the Lead Product Designer for Value Added Services at Capitec Bank, I am responsible for designing user interfaces and experiences for some of the bank's digital products, while ensuring they meet relevant design standards and guidelines. During my time in this role, I have launched three new digital products.

    • Led the design of user interfaces and experiences for the Capitec mobile banking app, website, and other digital products, using design thinking and user-centered design principles.
    • Designed and launched three new Value Added Services products for the Capitec app within the first 10 months of employment.
    • Collaborated closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to define user requirements, prioritize features, and develop product roadmaps.
    • Executed designs using participatory and iterative design techniques, including A/B testing, observational studies, customer interviews, usability testing, heuristic site evaluations, and competitive site analysis.
    • Created wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups using Figma and InVision, and provided detailed design specifications to developers.
